Apeel needed to explain invisible food-saving technology without giving everyone a science lecture. We disguised it as a series of movie trailers, parodying a few films hitting theaters at the time. Familiar enough to get the joke, different enough to avoid a lawsuit. The big twist? The fruit doesn’t die.
